Lake Huron shoreline in Harbor Beach

One underrated part of Michigan’s Forgotten Coast is the solid infrastructure. We’re well built.

Many communities process their own drinking and waste water…and the one’s that don’t get it from the ones who do. We do so well at it, that we have a lot of extra clean water! Perfect for a craft beverage startup. ;-) For an example and more information, check out the Huron Regional Water Task Force.

We have 100’s of miles of active fiber in the ground as well as high speed broadband from cable providers. We have transitioned from coal based power plants to wind and solar energy and supply a large amount of energy to other areas. One of our communities (Sebewaing) owns its own energy company for the citizens that now also provides broadband access as well.

Most of our communities have their own local police and well equipped fire departments. We have several rural hospitals & a great healthcare system. Our school systems provide a great education. Event the roads are kept in great shape!

Our infrastructure is ready for your craft beverage business!
